Readers are leaders.
I don’t know exactly who said this, but this is one quote that is as true as the truth can go.
Before you launch into an argument, I want you to look closely at everyone around you who is one form of a leadership position. The Chancellor of your Uni, the Lead Pastor in your church, your course representative and even the girl/guy who is at the top of the class.
One thing they likely all have in common is – they read.
Thankfully, I grew up reading.
Birthday presents, prize-giving day presents, random shopping trips, anything you can think of ended with my siblings and I getting books. I suspect I probably read all the Enid Blyton books.
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” – Dr. Seuss
“Once you have read a book you care about, some part of it is always with you.” – Louis L’Amour
“In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.” – Mortimer J. Adler

I know I probably sound like a broken record, but increasing my productivity this year is of maximum importance. With this in mind, I decided to read more and more books.
I already do a lot of reading, but doing even more never hurt anyone 💁♀
In the spirit of open-mindedness, I also decided to challenge myself to read more books authored by Africans.
Without further ado, I present to you my 2019 reading list 🎊 🎊
